A fine ribbed knit body pairs with a woven shirt collar and button placket in a contrasting fabric, so the neckline holds a crisp point while the rest stays soft. The rib runs vertically and draws the fit closer through the waist without gripping. Long sleeves finish in the same rib, and the straight hem sits at the hip, so it reads fine tucked or left out. The collar is interfaced and keeps standing after washing. Buttons are set on a shank so they sit up off the fabric. A shirt collar on a sweater, and it works.
