Caramel faux suede up the leg, black faux leather at the cuff, and a buckled strap where the two meet at the top of the shaft. Lacing runs the full front through metal eyelets, so the boot closes in tight over the instep and the calf and you set exactly how close that is. The toe is slim and tapered, and the heel is a covered stiletto, tall and narrow, which sets the pitch of the whole foot. The shaft is cut knee high and stands with some structure, so the contrast between the two materials stays crisp instead of folding over.
