A metal zipper closes the whole front from hem to chin, and above it the hood is fully lined in a smooth contrasting fabric so it slips over the head without catching on hair. The length runs down to mid thigh, giving real coverage over a top and pants, and the sleeves are long with enough width to pull on over a sweater.
