The boat neckline is cut wide from shoulder to shoulder and drops low enough that it slides toward one side as the sweater is worn. The knit is a heavy stockinette in a matte yarn, uniform across the surface and weighty enough to hold long straight folds. Sleeves are very full through the arm, cut almost as wide at the wrist as at the shoulder before deep ribbed cuffs gather them. A broad band of rib finishes the hem, wide enough to be visible as its own section, and it pulls the generous body in slightly at the bottom edge.
