The neckline is cut wide and shallow so it spreads across the collarbones and slides toward one shoulder as it is worn. From there the sleeve drops low under the arm and runs long and deep in a batwing shape, closing into a ribbed cuff that pulls the extra fabric in at the wrist. The knit is fine and supple with a smooth face, which lets the batwing hang in soft folds rather than standing away from the body. Ribbing at the hem draws the sweater in slightly at the hip so the volume through the middle has somewhere to settle.
