A knitted polo collar folds over at the neck, sitting on a short placket with three buttons that can be left open or closed right to the top. Thick cables run vertically down the front panel, standing well above the surrounding knit and giving the chest real depth. The yarn is heavy and the stitch is tight, so the sweater has structure and stays put on the shoulder. Sleeves are long and finished in rib, and the hem is ribbed too, split at each side with a short slit so the bottom edge sits flat instead of pulling across the hip.
