There are no buttons on this cardigan; instead the front panels cross over into a deep wrapped V and a matching knitted belt ties around the middle to hold them there. The collar is wide and folds back on itself, running continuously from one hem to the other. Vertical cables are worked in raised braids down the front and back panels, giving the thick knit a ridged surface that runs with the line of the body. Sleeves are long and finish in a ribbed cuff, and the same rib closes the hem so the heavy knit keeps a firm lower edge.
